Billing Finance Limited is a family run company specialising in motorhome and near-prime car finance to dealers and brokers. The company prides itself on providing a first-class customer service that ensures swift turnaround times from decision to document production and payout. Over the last four years the company has doubled its monthly lending. The number of live accounts have increased from approximately 1500 to 4300 over the same period.

“Increasing market share has led to a significant increase in the number of proposals we receive. It is important that our ever-growing network of brokers and dealers can submit these deals electronically through workflow and gateway systems that minimise human intervention as far as possible.
“Vienna provides the perfect option for this, either through its own dealer portal (point-of-sale) system or through industry standard third party interfaces that together give us real time inter-company communications and very rapid response times. Because Vienna is a complete end-to-end system, applications move through underwriting through to payouts and ‘make live’ straight into Vienna’s back-office collection systems. This maximised efficiency eliminates paperwork-related delays completely and means that there is no need to rekey any data.
“One of our key requirements was to be able to check for existing customers. Being able to look at their payment histories makes underwriting easier. We chose to enable checks in Vienna meaning it will scan proposals for possible matches in the contact database and then, if appropriate, issue a verification request to the underwriter.
“Users are able to delegate account management to Vienna’s integrated business processes. These provide automation throughout the entire life of an agreement in a number of areas,
- Documentation, correspondence and SMS text automation are provided by the integrated workflow systems
- Experian searches are carried out automatically through our link with the Experian CEMS system
- Storage, archiving and instant retrieval of all incoming and outgoing material is through the integrated document management functions
- Customer services and relationship management is supported through the customer, asset, agreement and composite note functions, through full agreement history tracking, and through user configurable workflow streams.
